Have you ever dreamed of learning a new language while feeling fully confident and engaged in your own learning process? Well, let me introduce you to a perfect method that not only helps you master French but also boosts your confidence like never before.

The main objective of our method is to empower you to take control of your learning by providing you with the tools to shine in French.
Intrigued? Then, let's dive into the details of this innovative approach together!
With our pedagogy, you get to learn French at your own pace and prepare for class beforehand.
Before our class meets, you'll receive all the materials you need.
You receive a lesson sheet that includes various materials to help you prepare for class. This document covers both sessions of the week.
For the first session, we discuss the theme and document that you studied using the lesson sheet that I provided to you, including:
Questions to introduce the topic and guide discussions;
An authentic document, such as a YouTube video, news article or video, or blog post, with comprehension questions to help you immerse yourself in the subject and practice your listening and reading skills;
A discussion based on the video or document, where you share your thoughts and opinions on the topic.
This way, you can familiarize yourself with new vocabulary and start thinking about the questions we'll be discussing in class.
During our first class session, we'll focus on speaking and discussing the material. We'll go over any difficult parts and answer any questions you might have. Since you've already done the reading and listening on your own, we can spend more time practicing speaking together. This means more interaction and conversation in French!
In the second session, we use the French that was heard or read in the document and the questions that were answered in session one to analyze the linguistic aspects of the language. We focus on grammar, and communication expressions.
You'll follow the steps in the sheet to understand the grammar and language rules. You'll also get to practice what you've learned by completing exercises and preparing for a final task. This way, you'll be able to apply what you've learned in a practical way.
With UpYourFrench, you complete grammar rules on your own to help you visualize and understand how the language works. But don't worry, I provide guidance in the lesson sheet to help you find and understand by yourself how the French language works.
You also have activities to practice using your new knowledge.
In class, we review and correct any errors if needed, and then complete a final task for which you prepare yourself.
Final written production is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. Writing in French can greatly improve language acquisition and comprehension of grammatical structures.
For certain concepts, whether it be vocabulary, grammar, or expressions appropriate for specific situations, we play games to either create a first contact with these concepts or to practice using previously studied concepts.
These games provide a fun and interactive way to learn and reinforce French language skills.
By actively engaging with the language, you can improve their retention and comprehension of these concepts. Additionally, these games provide you an opportunity to practice using the language in a low-pressure and supportive environment.

In class, we only use French. Of course, if you have any doubts, you can ask me if you've understood correctly using English (or Italian), but the aim is to be completely immersed in French throughout the session.
Trying to express yourself only in French allows you to develop your ability to find a way of expressing your ideas and also to find strategies for dealing with difficulties linked to a lack of vocabulary, for example.
It can be scary, I know. But if you don't dare speak French when you're in our very watchful environment and prepared, you'll dare even less in real life.
Overall, our approach provides you with a variety of materials to help learn French in a more interactive and personalized way. By preparing beforehand and focusing on speaking and analysis in class, you gain confidence in your language skills and make significant progress in your French studies.
So why not give it a try? You'll be amazed at how much you can learn and how much fun you'll have!
